Hard work and determination can lead to remarkable achievements at any age, a notion exemplified by the inspiring journey of Tamali Saha, an Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer from West Bengal. At just 23 years old, she successfully cleared the UPSC IFS examination on her first attempt, becoming a role model for many across India.

Belonging to North 24 Parganas in West Bengal, Tamali completed her schooling in her hometown before moving to Kolkata to pursue a degree in Zoology at the University of Kolkata. During her time in college, she was dedicated to preparing for the UPSC exams. In 2020, her efforts paid off when she achieved an impressive All India Rank of 94 in the UPSC Indian Forest Service Examination, securing her position as an IFS officer and allowing her to serve in her home state.

Tamali's success not only brings pride to her family and community but also serves as a testament to the idea that age and circumstances do not dictate one's career path. Instead, it is one's achievements and mindset that can transform aspirations into reality.
