George Clooney is out and about just after 5 days of scooter crash in ItalyJuly 17 (AZINS) After being involved in a scooter crash near Olbia in Italy, George Clooney was spotted walking unassisted at the airport in Rome.

According to a report by ET Online, Clooney who is shooting for Hulu series Catch-22 was seen walking cautiously through the small airport on Monday.

The 57-year-old actor was hurt after being involved in a traffic collision. According to Italian authorities, Clooney was riding his scooter at 60 mph when a Mercedes hit him and he was thrown about 20ft in the air.

The CCTV footage of the incident showed that Clooney was badly hurt and he was struggling on the ground in the middle of traffic.

“He is recovering at his home and will be fine,” Clooney spokesman Stan Rosenfield had said The Associated Press in an email.

In other news, Clooney is world number 2 on the list of highest-paid entertainers compiled by Forbes magazine.

Oscar-winning star earned an estimated $239 million after selling the Casamigos tequila company he co-founded to British spirits company Diageo in June 2017. Forbes said the sale gave Clooney the best annual earnings of his 35-year career in film and television.

Forbes compiled its 2018 list estimating pre-tax earnings from June 2017-June 2018, before deducting fees for managers, based on data from Nielsen, touring trade publication Pollstar, movie database IMDB, and interviews with industry experts and celebrities themselves.

Boxer Floyd Mayweather tops the list with  $285 million in earnings. Reality TV star Kylie Jenner is in the third position followed by Judy Sheindlin and Dwayne Johnson to round up the top five.
