Sep 13 (AZINS) One of the projects that is the talk of the town is the biopic on late Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, NT Rama Rao.
Said to be one of the most ambitious projects of the Telugu film industry, the biopic is the most talked- about projects.
Rana Daggubati, who plays Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu in the NTR biopic, took to Twitter to share another intriguing still from the film that features him and Nandamuri Balakrishna.
In the black-and-white still, Balakrishna can be seen looking right into the eyes of Naidu as the latter attentively listens to him.
Rana shared the image, and along with the picture wrote, “A great Human Phenomena #NTR with #RanaChandraBabuNaidu in 1984 #Vinayaka Chavathi Subhakankshalu”
The NTR biopic will an ensemble of stars from Bollywood as well as South Indian film industries.
While Nandamuri Balakrishna will step into the shoes of NTR, while Vidya Balan will play the role of Basavatarakam, his first wife.
Rana Daggubati, best known for portraying the menacing Bhallaladeva in the Baahubali series, will essay the role of incumbent Andhra Pradesh CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu.
In reality, Chandrababu Naidu is married to NTR’s daughter Bhuvaneshwari and shared a great relationship with his father-in-law.
Rana, for his role in the film, has brought about a lot of changes as far as his appearance is concerned.
Not only has the actor got a haircutm, but has also lost weight.
Without any doubt, Rana is looking leaner, neat and perfect for the role, at least when physique and appearance are in question.
In fact, Rana Daggubati, reports claim, also met Chandrababu Naidu as part of preparation for his role.
Vidya Balan, on the other hand, who shall essay the role of Rana’s mother-in-law, earlier told IANS in an interview, “We start shooting sharp at 9 am and finish exactly at 6 pm, which is really a unique experience for me.”
The NTR biopic which marks Vidya Balan’s first full-fledged role in a South Indian film industry, will be helmed by Krish.
