Watch: Ranveer Singh enthralls guests at his school friend's wedding by performing on his popular tracksFeb 19 (AZINS) Ranveer Singh is currently riding high on the success of his latest outing Gully Boy. The film is creating wonders at the box office and people can't stop applauding the actor for his incredible performance as Murad aka Gully Boy. The film released on Valentine's Day last week and also stars Alia Bhatt as the female lead. Gully Boy is helmed by Zoya Akhtar and has made more than Rs 80 crore at the domestic box office until now.

Talking about Ranveer, the actor despite his hectic schedule headed to Udaipur over the weekend to attend his school friend's wedding. The talented actor enthralled the guests with his dance performance on the song Aankh Marey from Simmba. He was seen performing with some girls on stage.

Ranveer also rapped and danced on Apna Time Aayega from Gully Boy. A couple of videos went instantly viral on the Internet and Ranveer was seen at his entertaining best.

Earlier during an Exclusive interaction with DNA, Ranveer was asked about becoming the new hip-hop sensation. To which he replied, "I am extremely happy that my vocals have been accepted. It’s really a big deal for me. I didn’t expect this to happen — Apna Time Aayega becoming No.1! It was important for me that I give my vocals because the film and the story are such. It’s about an underdog, the journey of a boy trying to become a musician. For me, it was significant, but Zoya was unsure about me lending my vocals. She said it’s a proper music album and if you are not good enough, I won’t use you because you are not an actual rapper. She took my test. I sang Naezy’s version of Meri Gully Mein. Divine bhai was there guiding me and giving tips. Only after I passed my test did Zoya agree. So, it was not a given that I would sing, I had to qualify."
