June 25 (AZINS) Back in the year 2003, Shahid Kapoor had made her Bollywood debut with the sleeper hit film Ishq Vishk, which also starred Amrita Rao and Shenaz Treasurywala in the leads. The movie instantly locked Shahid's placed in our hearts, especially with his boyish charm and incredible dancing skills. Now, 16 years later, Shahid's half brother Ishaan Khatter may be roped in the sequel of Ishq Vishk. 

If recent reports are anything to go by, then apparently the makers are now working on Ishq Vishk 2 and are considering to get Ishaan Khatter on board for the lead role in the project. As of now, the script of the film is being worked upon. 

While Ishq Vishk was a youth centric film with a very young and fresh vibe to it, who better than Shahid's brother Ishaan to play the lead in Ishq Vishk 2, especially since her has the same boyish charm as well as innocence that's reequired for the role. 

While Ishaan has not made any more announcements after his Bollywood debut in Dhadak along with Janhvi Kapoor, looks like Ishq Vishk 2 may just be the project he had been waiting for. For the unversed, Ishaan had made his acting debut with Majid Majidi's Beyond The Clouds. 

On the other hand, Shahid Kapoor has been winning hearts as well as the box office with his latest offering Kabir Singh. Despite severe criticism from the critics, the film is off to a flying start at the box office. It has already crossed the Rs 75 crore mark in just 4 days of its release.
