'Chhichhore' Box Office Report day 4: Sushant Singh Rajput-Shraddha Kapoor starrer goes 'Uri: The Surgical Strike' way
Nitesh Tiwari's Chhichhore, featuring Sushant Singh Rajput and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles, might have started slowly at the Box Office, but the movie is currently spelling magic within four days of its release. The movie went on to mint excellent numbers on first Monday.

Sushant Singh Rajput-Shraddha Kapoor starrer Chhichhore went on to mint Rs. 7.75 crore on its first Monday, which is 10% growth from its opening day collections. Chhichhore thus is the second movie of 2019 which has seen such growth, after Uri: The Surgical Strike. The Vicky Kaushal starrer had seen 25% growth.

In fact, the collections are better than sleeper hits of 2018, including Badhaai Ho, Raazi and Stree. The movie, which earned Rs. 42.75 crore so far, is expected to see further growth by the end of Tuesday since it is partial holiday due to Moharram.

The lower ticket prices of Chhichhore over weekday (Monday) at multiplexes have also helped the movie gain more audience on Monday. Interestingly, contrary to popular belief, Chhichhore has attracted more crowd in multiplexes (almost 90%) as compared to single screens.

Here, take a look at the breakup of Chhichhore collections:

Friday - 7,00,00,000 apprx

Saturday 12,00,00,000 apprx

Sunday - 16,00,00,000 apprx

Monday - 7,75,00,000 apprx

Total - 42,75,00,000 apprx
