Remember the lady beggar who became viral on the internet after singing 'Ek Pyar Ka Nagma Hai' on Ranaghat railway station in West Bengal? The same Ranu Mondal is currently going viral on the internet for a reason which is completely opposite from when she was discovered.

Ranu Mondal is breaking the internet due to her behaviour with a fan who approached Ranu for a selfie. On being approached, Ranu was seen uttering 'Don't Touch Me, I'm Famous'. This has angered many Ranu Mondal fans, who supported her rags to riches journey.

Some fans have made memes over her 'touch me not' comment while others have openly taken a dig at her. Fans even went to the extent of comparing Arijit Singh's humble attitude of never refusing a selfie, to Ranu Mondal's starry tantrums.

Ranu Mondal has sung two Bollywood songs, for singer-music composer Himesh Reshammiya. He gave Ranu a break in his upcoming movie Happy Hardy And Heer. She sang 'Teri Meri Kahaani' and 'Aashiqui Mein Teri 2.0' for the movie. Himesh welcomed her to Bollywood with a launch too.
