Google makes Hangouts calls to Belgium and Turkey free in the wake of the terror strikesMumbai, Mar 23(AZINS) To enable people to communicate with friends, family and associates in Belgium and Turkey during this time of strife, Google has just made calls to the regions via their Hangouts app free.

This includes the Hangouts Dialer and the Google Voice apps, where inbound calls to users of Belgium’s largest cellular carriers including Lycamobile, Mobistar, Proximus, and Telenet are free of charge. Even calls to land lines in Turkey are exempt from charge.

To enable Google users to stay on top of updates regarding the fallout of the recent terror attacks, Google has also been pushing out key information such as transit updates, and pertinent data that link back to the Government Crisis Center. The resources can also be accessed via Google searches.
