'Burning Wells', Hollywood movie on Kuwait war, unveiled at IndywoodHyderabad, Sep 25 (AZINS) Award-winning Hollywood director and founder chairman and CEO of Aries Group of Companies Sohan Roy on Sunday unveiled the first look of his most awaited project "Burning Wells" - a movie set against the backdrop of Kuwait War.

The first look was unveiled during the Indywood Film Carnival being held at Ramoji Fim City.

The project had brought together Roy and well-known director I.V. Sasi, popular for his unique filmmaking style. In a career nearing four decades, he has directed 170 films and has been instrumental in shaping the careers of many actors.

"Burning Wells" portrays the life of a man who gets uprooted by the worst consequences of the infamous Kuwait war after Iraq's Saddam Hussain invaded the Gulf Principality on 1990.

The movie has been made at the cost of $25 million and has been shot in three languages - Arabic, Hindi and English. It has been made in Hollywood format in 3D using 8K technology.

Although there have been many movies set against the backdrop of the Kuwait war, "Burning Wells" offers a completely different perspective with a gripping narrative from a Kuwaiti's point of view.

"'Burning Wells' is the first project from the Indywood stable. It is an International movie to be made by 100 percent Indian talent and is based on Kuwait war.It is set to become a benchmark for all Indian films in the future," said Roy.

Indywood, the four-day carnival which began on Friday, will witness about 15 mega events, over 50 panel discussions, workshops for directors and producers, niche product live demos and launches, talent show, awards and film screenings.
