'My 90-sec speech created panic in entire Congress and INDIA bloc,' says PM Modi

Amid a debate on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's remarks that "Congress wants to snatch women's Mangalsutra," the Prime Minister reiterated on Tuesday that he had put the truth before the country that Congress is hatching a deep conspiracy to snatch your property and distribute it to its special people. Addressing a public meeting here today, PM Modi said that his speech had created panic in the entire Congress and INDIA bloc.

"When I came to Rajasthan the day before yesterday, I had presented some truths before the country in my 90-second speech. This has created panic in the entire Congress and INDI alliance. I had put the truth before the country that Congress is hatching a deep conspiracy to snatch your property and distribute it to its special people. I exposed their vote bank and appeasement politics. After all, why is Congress so afraid of the truth?" the Prime Minister said.

PM Modi also asked what would have happened if there was a Congress government at the centre after 2014.

"In 2014, you allowed Modi to serve in Delhi. Then the country made decisions that no one had even imagined. But think about what would have happened even after 2014 and even today if there was a Congress government in Delhi. Had Congress been there, stones would have been pelted at our forces in Jammu and Kashmir even today. Had Congress been there, the enemies would have come from across the border. Had Congress been there, neither One Rank One Pension would have been implemented for our soldiers nor would our ex-servicemen have received Rs 1 lakh crore," he said.

'Rise out of appeasement politics': Amit Shah slams Chidambaram over his remarks on CAA

Coming down hard on Congress leader P Chidambaram over his remarks on the Citizenship Amendment Act, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said on Tuesday that they have been fighting against Congress' appeasement politics for years and the Congress should rise out of it and try to perform on the agenda of development. Amit Shah told ANI that Congress wants to scrap the CAA just to appease their vote bank.

"Since the 1960s, Congress has made appeasement politics its weapon to win elections. We had been fighting against this for years. Since 2014, PM Modi has set the development agenda among people and elections began in the country based on that. Congress is facing difficulty in contesting elections based on development; they have continuously lost elections. They want to go ahead once again based on appeasement politics. Chidambaram doesn't say what the shortcomings of CAA are; he just says that they will scrap it. Why? Because they have to strengthen their minority vote bank," he said.

He added further that Chidambaram's intentions will never be fulfilled as the people have understood the Congress party well.

"BJP stands firm on its principles. We will not do injustice to anyone. We will do justice. But we will not do appeasement either. I don't understand what objection Congress has to CAA. The CAA will not take away anyone's citizenship; they are misleading people. They want to win elections by indulging in appeasement politics. I would like to tell Chidambaram that his intentions will never come to fruition. People have understood the Congress party well," Shah added.

'Congress party's manifesto is prepared in a way that they win elections in Pakistan': Sarma

Ernakulam, Kerala | Assam CM & BJP leader Himanta Biswa Sarma yesterday said, "Congress party's manifesto is prepared in a way that they win elections in Pakistan. The manifesto is more for the people of Pakistan and less for the people of India. The Congress has done a manifesto which will snatch resources from the common people and Congress will destroy the economy of the country. We have interpreted the Congress manifesto in the most right way. I will challenge them to come for a public debate to show that this manifesto is nothing but appeasement...The PM has correctly said that everybody has a right on the resources of the country. It is for the Congress party to tell why they said that the first right to the resources of the country is with a particular community. Rahul Gandhi is the best candidate for 'Pappu' "

Rajeev Chandrasekhar travels on a train from Parassala to Thiruvananthapuram Central as part of his election campaign

Bharatiya Janata Party national president JP Nadda lashed out at the opposition coalition, INDIA bloc, while addressing a public rally in Chhattisgarh's Bhilai on Monday. The BJP chief claimed that the leaders of the INDIA bloc are "either on bail or in jail".

Nadda claimed that the opposition alliance guarantees nepotism and corruption, while Prime Minister Narendra Modi vows to eradicate corruption.

"On one side, there is only development taking place under Modi ji and on the other side, there is INDI alliance, this ghamandiya alliance, which has only two guarantees, one is 'Parivarwad Bachao' and second is 'Bhrashtachariyon ko Bachao'. When Modi ji says 'Bhrashtachar Hatao', these people say 'Bhrashtachariyon ko Bachao'. It is for the public to decide," Nadda said.

"Rahul Gandhi is on bail, Sonia Gandhi is on bail, Lalu Prasad Yadav, Tejashwi Yadav, Tej Pratap, Sanjay Singh, P Chidambaram, Karti P Chidambaram, TMC Ministers, and DMK Ministers, are all on bail. Then Manish Sisodia is in jail, Arvind Kejriwal is in jail, Satyender Jain, some of TMC leaders, K Kavitha, and some of DMK leaders are in jail. The leaders of the ghamandiya alliance and the INDI alliance are either on bail or in jail," he added.

Nadda claimed that the opposition alliance are formed by "family parties".
