Chandigarh-Dibrugarh Express has been derailed In Uttar Pradesh's Gonda. The accident took place near Pikaura, between Gonda and Jhilahi around 2.35 pm. A rescue team has been sent to the spot. The Railway Medical van reached the site and helpline numbers are issued by Indian Railways. Four people have died and several are injured in the accident, UP Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak told PTI.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken cognisance of the train accident in the Gonda district. He directed the officials to reach the spot immediately and expedite the relief work and has given instructions for proper treatment of the injured, CMO said.
