Trenton (New Jersey), April 20 (AZINS) Charlie Murphy‘s family and friends gathered in New Jersey to celebrate the late comedians life.
Dave Chappelle, George Lopez, Cedric the Entertainer and others paid their respects on Wednesday, a week after Charlie passed away at the age of 57 after a battle with leukemia, reports people.com.
"Tonight we joined family and friends to pay tribute and lay to rest our brother - the legendary Charlie Murphy," Cedric captioned a group photo that also included Neal Brennan, Eddie Griffin, Affion Crockett, Donnell Rawlings and D.L. Hughley.
"We love you Charlie. RIP keep doing it big," Rawlings captioned a different photo of the friends.
Charlie, who is actor-comedian Eddie Murphy‘s older brother, died in a New York hospital on April 12. His manager said he had been battling leukemia and undergoing chemotherapy.
