Demi Lovato mum on her sexual orientationLos Angeles, Sep 16 (AZINS) Singer-actress Demi Lovato declined to offer any specifics about her sexuality, but said she plans to answer some questions on the matter in an upcoming documentary.

She was talking about her YouTube documentary "Demi Lovato: Simply Complicated".

In an interview with LGBT news outlet PrideSource, Lovato said she prefers to keep her romantic life private, reports nydailynews.com.

"I just feel like everyone's always looking for a headline and they always want their magazine or TV show or whatever to be the one to break what my sexuality is. I feel like it's irrelevant to what my music is all about," Lovato said.

The singer added: "I like to keep my personal life as private as possible when it comes to dating and sexuality and all that stuff just because it has nothing to do with my music. Unfortunately, we live in a world where everyone is trying to get that soundbite and I am purposefully not giving the soundbite."

Lovato, who has long supported the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community, said she will discuss the topic on her "own terms" in her documentary.

Lovato received the Vanguard Award at the GLAAD Awards in April 2016 due to her frequent support of the LGBT community. The singer has often appeared at Pride events and filmed her music video for her song "Really don't care" (2013) at an LGBT event in Los Angeles.
