Kim Cattrall denies making outrageous demands for 'Sex and the City 3'Los Angeles, Sep 30 (AZINS) Actress Kim Cattrall, who essayed the role of Samantha Jones in the franchise of "Sex and the City", broke her silence on the rumours surrounding the third instalment which was killed off.

Cattrall, 61, took to Twitter to set the record straight on the rumours that the movie was killed off due to her outrageous demands, reports people.com.

"Woke up to a storm! The only 'demand' I ever made was that I didn't want to do a third film and that was back in 2016," she wrote on Friday.

The actress did not explain why she was not too fond of doing another movie, but earlier this year Cattrall said she was reluctant to reprise her role in the third instalment because "there's nothing concrete.

"There's no script, there's no idea. The hardest thing is, what would the story be? It's been seven, eight years since we wrapped the last movie. Can we get everybody together? We're all sort of scattered now. Are we still relevant," Cattrall questioned.

"Sex and the City 3" was supposed to kick off production this fall.

Sarah Jessica Parker, 52, Kristin Davis, also 52, and Cynthia Nixon, 51, reportedly were all signed on for the film before it was shut down.
