Dell introduces new commercial PC portfolioSan Francisco, April 25 (AZINS) Dell on Wednesday introduced its latest commercial PC portfolio with advanced versions of the existing Dell Latitude, OptiPlex, Dell Precision and P-Series workstations.

The new "Dell Precision mobile workstations" are smaller, lighter and will be able to take workloads that were previously not possible with a mobile workstation, the company said in a statement.

The products will be made available globally from May 22 on the company's official website, except P-Series monitors which will be available on June 25, the statement said.

The Dell Precision 7730 and 7530 mobile workstations house latest 8th Gen Intel Core and Xeon processors, AMD Radeon WX and NVIDIA Quadro professional graphics, industry-leading "3200MHz SuperSpeed" memory and the largest memory capacity for a mobile workstation up to 128GB.

The Dell Precision 7530 is the industry's first 15-inch "Ready for VR" mobile workstation.

The Dell Precision 5530 2-in-1 with a flexible 360-degree hinge enables multiple modes of interaction, including support for touch and pen.

With the "Latitude laptops, OptiPlex desktops and thin P-series monitors," Dell aims to improve and deliver better security, management, reliability and experience in areas like multi-display configurations.

"IT departments are working with Dell to build a technology strategy that gives employees the power and flexibility to get their jobs done, whenever and wherever it best fits their lifestyle, while keeping data secure and TCO low," said Jay Parker, President, Client Product Group, Dell.

To ensure data protection, Dell also said its "Dell Data Guardian" and "Dell Encryption" will safeguard file types including in-house, proprietary applications, standard Office and PDFs to deliver control and enforcement options beyond a company's network.
