'Haila! Amrita Singh': How Ranveer Singh, Rohit Shetty made fun of Sara Ali Khan on first day of 'Simmba' shoot, VideoAuthor : AZIndia News Desk
June 6 (AZINS) Finally! It was the first day of shoot for Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan, who'll be seen sharing screen space in Rohit Shetty's Simmba. The film is co-produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and is a Hindi remake of Telugu hit Temper. While the makers of the film shared the first picture from the first day of the film's shoot, how can anyone expect everything to go normally on a film set when the ever energetic prankster Ranveer Singh is very much a part of the film? And this time, the fun seems to have been doubled up since he's joined by director Rohit Shetty's whose pranks on the sets of his Golmaal series can comprise a separate book altogether.
So, the first day of shoot for Sara Ali Khan had both Ranveer and Rohit teasing her (but all in good fun) by calling her Amrita Singh (her mother). Now, we do agree that Sara does resemble her every-beautiful mother to a great extent. In a short video shared by Karan Johar on Twitter, we can see how both Ranveer and Rohit end up saying, "Haila! Amrita Singh" when Sara enters the frame and asks them if it's the set of Singham 3.
The video begins with Ranveer mouthing a dialogue and Rohit chiding him for using a dialogue from the film. This is where we get introduced to the character of Ranveer in the film - Sangram Bhalerao.
The first schedule of Simmba is said to be of two months duration. The movie is supposed to hit the theatres on December 28, this year.
