OnePlus 6 gets OxygenOS 5.1.6 update: All the new featuresAuthor : AZIndia News Desk
June 11 (AZINS) The new OxygenOS 5.1.6 update for the OnePlus 6 is now available for customers. It will be available to users as an over-the-air update and weighs roughly 223MB.
The new OxygenOS 5.1.6 update will bring in new features including a Portrait mode for selfies along with a preview for Light Bokeh Effect, but for only the rear camera. Additionally, the status bar will now include the battery percentage, dual 4G network support and a scheduled DND mode.
Also, the update brings in improvements to call quality and improved ringtone volume and sound quality. It also adds a new smart answer for Bluetooth option which will allow users to automatically answer incoming calls in Bluetooth mode.
In terms of specifications, the device features a 6.28-inch FullHD+ Optic AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 19:9. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, paired with 6GB/8GB RAM option. It is available in 64GB/128GB/256GB storage variants as well.
It comes equipped with a dual-camera setup – 16MP + 20MP cameras. It also includes a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0 with aptX and aptX HD support, NFC, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C (v2.0) and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Running Android 8.1 Oreo with OxygenOS on top, the device is backed up by a 3,300mAh battery.
Recently, the company introduced an OnePlus 6 ‘Silk White’ Limited Edition in India for a price of Rs 39,999. The new device will be available in an 8GB RAM/128GB storage variant via e-commerce portal Amazon India as well as OnePlus Store.
