Akshay Kumar is a complete goof-ball in real life and this behind-the-scene video from 'Gold' is proofJuly 24 (AZINS) The recently-released behind-the-scenes video of 'Gold' gives us an insight into the making of Akshay Kumar's character, Tapan Das. While we get to see the prep that had gone into making the character we also get to witness the fun side of Akshay, who is otherwise known to be a very disciplined and hard-working actor. The actor's quirks and whims had made him everyone's favourite on the set.

Kunal Kapoor, who plays a hockey coach in the film, says, "He is a very physical actor. He can fall, do a cartwheel and nothing will happen. But it does not end on camera. At the end of the day, he can do one more just for fun."

However, his pranks did not always end up in loud laughters. In the video, Akshay is shown barrelling into another senior actor in his enthusiasm, leaving director Reema Kagti worried for the veteran's health.

Gold traces the journey of a man who dreams to win free India’s first Gold in Hockey. Akshay Kumar essays the role of Tapan Das, an assistant manager of a pre-independence hockey team.
