Aug 19 (AZINS) John Abraham's latest offering Satyameva Jayate clashed with Akshay Kumar's Gold at the box office this Independence Day. Though, both the movies recorded fantastic opening day collections, there was a huge decline in the footfalls for both the films on day two.

Just like Gold, John's Satyameva Jayate too managed to gain a litle momentum post the dip on Thursday. Though, the increase in collections of Satyameva Jayate havent't been as notable as in the case of Gold, the John Abraham starrer has managed to maintain a steady hold at the ticket windows.

A report on Box Office India suggests that the Milap Zaveri directotial managed to rake in Rs 7.25 crore at the box office on day four of its release. This makes the total four-day box office collections of the film to stand at Rs 41 crore nett approx.

While Gold has managed to cross the Rs 50 crore mark in four days, Satyameva Jayate couldn't do the same.
