Sonu Sood and Arjun Rampal seek blessings at Golden Temple and relish dhaba-food, ahead of Paltan's releaseAug 25 (AZINS) Sonu Sood and Arjun Rampal kickstarted 'Paltan' promotions by seeking blessings at Golden Temple, Amritsar. This is their first city-visit ahead of the film's release. They also visited the commissioner's office and met a few police officers there.

The actors also relished authentic punjabi food at a dhaba in Jalandhar.

JP Dutta Film's upcoming war drama 'Paltan' also stars Gurmeet Choudhary, Harshvardhan Rane and Siddhant Kapoor amongst others.

Based on the Nathu La military clashes of 1967 which took place along the Sikkim border, Paltan showcases an untold story of the Indian forces facing off in an intense battle to ward off a Chinese infiltration.

Renowned filmmaker J P Dutta returns to direction after 12 years with Paltan. The national-award-winning director has earlier treated the audience with war films like 'Border', 'LOC' 'Kargil', and 'Refugee'.

'Paltan' is slated to release on September 7th.
