Sep 3 (AZINS) Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao starrer Stree is working wonders at the ticket windows. The film, which has managed to cast its spell and enchant the critics as well as the audience alike, further witnessed a massive jump in its box office collections on the third day of its release. The openeing weekend box office numbers of Stree now stand at Rs 31.26 crore.
The movie opened to an impressive figure of Rs 6.82 crore on Friday. Since then, its collections have only increased. Riding high on positive reviews and word of mouth, the film further raked in Rs 13.57 crore on Sunday.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to his Twitter account to share the figures. He wrote, "All estimations and calculations go for a toss... #Stree wreaks havoc at ticket counters... Multiplexes, single screens, metros, mass circuits - this one has worked across the board... Fri 6.82 cr, Sat 10.87 cr, Sun 13.57 cr. Total: ? 31.26 cr. India biz."
Stree also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurrana and Abhishek Banerjee in supporting roles and their performance has been much appreciated in addition to those of Rajkummar and Shraddha. We already told you that the movie is all set to have a sequel as well.
It'll be interesting to see how the Amar Kaushik directorial fares at the ticket windows on Monday and subsequent weekdays.
