Not Shah Rukh Khan! Karan Johar reveals who's his absolute favourite actor of all timeSep 4 (AZINS) B-Town boasts of several friendships and jodis of friends and the one of Karan Johar and Shah Rukh Khan occupies a special place not just for their fans but the duo themselves cherish the bod that they share. We all know how Shah Rukh is fond of KJo while Karan too has spoken highly of him at several occasions. Every time the actor-dirctor duo have collaborated, the result has been nothging less than fireworks, be it Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, or My Name Is Khan. In fact, Karan even considers SRK to be his lucky charm and had roped him in for a special appearance in his last directorial Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.

Recently, Karan Johar graced the cover of Mans World India magazine. The filmmaker was asked in an interview by the mag, to name his all time favourite actor. While one would expect him to pick Shah Rukh Khan, however, that didn't happen.

Turns out that KJo's favourite all time actor happens to be (none from the Khan clan but) Ranbir Kapoor. The duo had worked together in ADHM. Johar told the magazine, “My all-time favourite actor will be Ranbir because he's just phenomenal."

He further added that he's excited to have worked with Ranbir earlier and he's excited to work with him for Brahmastra. It's already known how close Karan is to Ranbir's lady love Alia Bhatt, whom he had launched in Student Of The Year.

As of now, both Ranbir and Alia are shooting together for his production Brahmastra. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, Brahmastra is the first film in a three-part superhero franchise, bankrolled by Dharma Productions.
