'His condition is a bit improved with strong medication': Saira Banu updates on Dilip Kumar's healthSep 8 (AZINS) Veteran Bollywood actor Dilip Kumar was admitted to th Lilavati hospital, following complaint of chest congestion on Wednesday. The legendary actor's fans have been waiting with baited breath for an update on his health condition and finally, here it is. Dilip Kumar's wife Saira Banu recently shared an update on his health saying that his condition has slightly improved with the help of strong medication, but it needs to be improved further.

The yesteryear actress was quoted as saying by Zee News, "Yes please do pray. His congestion is a bit improved with strong medication and we have to yet improve much more for a good recovery In Shaa Allah. Thank you for the good wishes.”

Those who're unversed, after Dilip Kumar was admitted to the hospital on September 5 due to chest infection, he was also diagnosed with pneumonia. The actor seems to be recuperating well, and his family members have urged the fans and well wishers to pray for his speedy recovery.

Earlier, while speaking with PTI, Saira Banu had shared that the actor is doing better. "The medical reports are saying a small patch of pneumonia is there. God willing, he will be out of it soon. But he is doing fine," she had told the agency.

The news of Dilip Kumar being hospitalised was first shared by his nephew Faisal Farooqui on Twitter. He shared from the actor's Twitter page, writing,“Saab has been admitted to Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital as he was bit uneasy due to a chest infection. He’s recuperating. Requesting your duas and prayers.”
