Google Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL image renders leaked ahead of launch on October 9Sep 22 (AZINS) Google is expected to unveil new Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL smartphones at an event on October 9. However, leaks regarding the smartphones don’t stop.

Serial tipster Evan Blass has shared a new render of the upcoming Pixel 3 and the Pixel 3 XL. According to 9to5Mac, the smaller Pixel 3 has slim bezels around the display, front facing speakers, and two front-facing cameras. On the other hand, the Pixel 3 XL has the slim side bezels along with a chin along the bottom to house a front-facing speaker.

Just a few weeks before the announcement, an official teaser from Google in Japan revealed the color scheme for the upcoming smartphones - Mint, White and Black. Based on the images, it seems like the new Pixel 3 XL will have a design similar to the Pixel 2 XL, apart from the fact that it adopts a notch, seen on the iPhone X.

Recently, real-life Google Pixel 3 photos had also popped up online, confirming the soon-to-be-launched smartphone’s design. According to the images, the back of the Pixel 3 looks pretty much identical to the larger Pixel 3 XL, complete with a matte-finish rear panel and a much-smaller glass inset up top. The right side of the smartphone features the volume rocker and the power button

Additionally, most specifications of the Google Pixel 3 have also been confirmed, which reveal hardware specifications of smartphones. It is believed that the Google Pixel 3 will come with a 2,915mAh battery. It will also have a larger (compared to Pixel 2) 5.5-inch display, but the extra tall aspect ratio will ensure the smartphone’s fairly easy to use with one hand. The smartphone will most certainly be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM, and run stock Android 9.0 Pie out-of-the-box.
