Airtel will now offer doorstep delivery for the new Apple iPhone XS, iPhone XS MaxSep 23 (AZINS) Airtel will now start delivering Apple’s latest iPhone X and iPhone XS Max to your doorstep. The Airtel online store states that the store pick up and “Door Step delivery will begin from September 28 at 6PM.

Airtel said, “Starting today customers can pre-order iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max on its Online Store. The smartphones will be delivered to customers beginning September 28, 2018.” However, this facility is only for post-paid customers who will pre-book the new iPhones in the selected 20-25 cities.

In India, the iPhone XS is priced at Rs 99,900 for the 64GB variant, Rs 1,14,900 for the 256GB variant and Rs 1,34,900 for the 512GB variant. On the other hand, the iPhone XS Max is priced at Rs 1,09,900 for the 64GB variant, Rs 1,24,900 for the 256GB variant and Rs 1,44,900 for the 512GB variant.

The iPhone XS, has 5.8-inch screen size, similar to iPhone X. Apple's XS Max is even bigger than Samsung's Galaxy Note 9, which is 6.4 inches. Apple iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max are powered by the A12 Bionic chip with a 7 nm design, which allows for more than 6 billion transistors on the processor. This is a six-core processor. It comes with a more powerful GPU and CPU. A12 Bionic helps apps launch 30 per cent faster.

Apple vice president Phil Schiller called the latest models "a huge step forward for the future of the smartphone." The September event allows the company to unveil its latest offerings before the key holiday shopping season and comes with the global smartphone market largely saturated. While the iPhone has made Apple the world's most valuable company, worth more than $1 trillion, it has slipped to third place among smartphone makers as Chinese-based Huawei has grabbed the number two spot behind Samsung.
