Oct 1 (AZINS) The release of Hellboy: Rise of the Blood Queen has been pushed back by three months, but to soothe the souls of the fans who are eagerly waiting, the filmmakers released a brand new poster from the movie on Monday.
Lionsgate film unveiled the new poster to start the week on a good note. This Hellboy has fully grown horns, death stare, flaming sword and iron hand. Stranger Things star David Harbour is your big red monster hunter.
Reportedly, this Hellboy reboot will focus on this beast's battle against an ancient sorceress who wants revenge against humankind. This reboot will be a three-part story arc.
Ian McShane plays Professor Bruttenholm, Daniel Dae Kim is the undead Marine captain Ben Daimio, Sasha Lane plays human woman Alice Monaghan.
Directed by Game of Thrones helmer Neil Marshall, Hellboy is set to release on April 12, 2019. It will now face-off against The Voyage of Doctor Dolittle, starring Robert Downey Jr, Breakthrough with Chrissy Metz and Topher Grace and the YA adaptation After.
