Nokia 3.1, Nokia 5.1, Nokia 6.1 and Nokia 8 Sirocco prices slashed in IndiaOct 20 (AZINS) HMD Global has slashed prices for the Nokia 3.1, Nokia 5.1, Nokia 6.1 and the Nokia 8 Sirocco in India.

The Nokia 3.1 for the 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, which was earlier priced at Rs 11,999 will now receive a discount of Rs 1,000 and is now available for Rs 10,999. The Nokia 5.1 for the 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, which was earlier priced at Rs 14,449 will now receive a discount of Rs 1,500 and is now available for Rs 12,999.

The Nokia 6.1 for the 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage will now be priced at Rs 13,499 while the 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage will retail for Rs 16,499.  Lastly, the Nokia 8 Sirocco gets a major price cut of Rs 13,000 and is now priced at Rs 36,999

Nokia 3.1

In terms of specifications, the device features a 5.2-inch HD+ display with a 720x1440 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6750N chipset, paired with 3GB RAM. It will include an internal storage of 16GB, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. It comes equipped with a 13MP rear camera with f/2.0 and an LED flash along with an 8MP front-facing camera. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, GLONASS and microUSB. A 2,990mAh battery completes the package.

Nokia 5.1

In terms of specifications, the device features a 5.5-inch HD+ display with a 1080 x 2160 pixels resolution. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6755S chipset, paired with 3GB RAM. It will include an internal storage of 32GB. It comes equipped with a 16MP rear sensor with LED flash along with an 8MP front-facing camera. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, GLONASS and microUSB. A 3000mAh battery completes the package. It will be available in Copper, Tempered Blue, and Black color variants via offline retailers’ offline, Paytm Mall and Nokia's online store.

Nokia 6.1

The Nokia 6.1 comes with a 5.5-inch full-HD 16:9 aspect ratio screen. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 SoC, and comes in two variants – 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage. The phone is an upgrade from last year’s version of the Nokia 6, which came with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC. Additionally; the phone has a 3,000mAh battery, and runs Android Oreo out-of-the-box.

The Nokia 6.1 is also an Android One device, which means that it runs a stock version of Android OS and receives frequent software updates and security patches. You also get a 16-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel front camera, fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C port for connectivity and charging.

Nokia 8 Sirocco

It features a 5.5-inch edge-to-edge 2K resolution display along with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for protection. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, paired with 6GB RAM. It includes an internal storage of 128GB.  Running Android Oreo out-of-the-box, as a part of Google’s Android One, it is equipped with a dual-camera setup which comprises of a 12MP rear camera along with a 13MP telephoto for 2x optical zoom. It also packs in a 5MP front-facing camera. A 3260 mAh battery completes the package. It also supports Qi wireless charging and fast charging that promises 50 percent in 30 minutes. It is priced at 799 EUR (approximately Rs 63,500).
