Game of Thrones: Sean Bean aka Ned Stark reveals show will have a reunion episodeAuthor : AZIndia News Desk
Oct 22 (AZINS) Remember that at one point Sean Bean and his character Ned Stark were at the centre of the action in Game of Thrones? Turns out, the actor is going to be part of the hit fantasy show one more time.
Clearly out of practice when it comes to keeping things secret about Game of Thrones, Sean Bean let it slip that the showrunners secretly filmed a reunion episode that features current and past cast members.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter about his role in the show titled Medici, Bean revealed that Conan O'Brien hosted an evening that included the cast members of the show.
"They decided to get all the characters together for a bit for this big show in Belfast and (O’Brien) kind of hosted the evening. He did this thing, it was the last episode, so we all got together. It’s funny with work, you don’t really keep in touch. You do so many types of jobs in that part of the world. It’s just like whenever I see old friends or even old drama school friends, it’s just the same, we pick up where we left off last time," said Bean.
HBO is yet to confirm any details about this special or even acknowledge if it happened. But a while ago, Jason Momoa had shared a lot of images of the time he spent reunited with the crew on his Instagram page. The event led to a lot of speculations. Maybe this tie-in with Bean's story solves that mystery.
It is possible that this special could be part of DVD perks. Or it could be divided as aftershow extras. Only HBO and time will tell what happens. In any case, the final season of Game of Thrones is scheduled to arrive in the first half of 2019.
