What's more? The actor reveals that he also fasts for Aishwarya, every year! Someone give him the trophy for the best husband, already!

“Karva Chauth, good luck ladies.... And the dutiful husbands who should also be fasting with their wives! I do,” Abhishek tweeted on October 27.

Speaking about the festival, Abhishek had said in a 2015 interview, “I don’t believe in it (Karva Chauth), but if my wife is doing something for my health, then it is my duty to be with her. That’s why I will be flying to be with my wife.”

In 2013, Aishwarya fulfilled the traditional requirements of Karva Chauth through Skype. The 'Fanney Khan' actress celebrated the day with father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan and mother-in-law Jaya Bachchan.

“Abhishek out of country on shoot .. so face of husband seen through Skype,for Karvachauth by Aishwarya .. what times we live in !!,? an amused Amitabh had tweeted.

“My 1st Karwa Chawth away from the Mrs. Thank god for Facetime!," Abhishek wrote on Twitter.

On Friday, Abhishek shared a ‘flashback Friday’ post with his wife. The picture was taken in 2008 when the actors were on their ‘Unforgettable Tour’ of the US. Abhishek wrote alongside the picture, “During a press conference while we were on the ‘Unforgettable Tour’ back in 2008. Think this was in Atlantic City. #TheMrs.”
