'Sonchiriya' Teaser: Sushant Singh Rajput, Manoj Bajpayee, Ashutosh Rana instill fear as dacoitsNov 7 (AZINS) The first teaser of Sushant Singh Rajput's much-awaited film 'Sonchiriya' was finally released on Friday and it promises to deliver an intriguing tale of deceit and power.

The over-one-minute long clip introduces us to the baaghis (rebels) of the beehad (ravines) of Chambal. Manoj Bajpayee's character leads a dacoit gang, under the name of rebel Man Singh. He seemingly rules over the town of Brahmpuri along with Ranvir Shorey.

In the teaser, the dacoit gang asks the villagers to co-operate with them and not try to do anything heroic, but it appears Sushant Singh Rajput's character is set on doing exactly that. We also get brief glimpses of Bhumi Pednekar and Ashutosh Rana. Though their roles are still a mystery, the Abhishek Chaubey directorial certainly promises to be a power packed, and rustic action drama.

A voice-over informs the viewers that the dacoits are on the lookout for a ‘golden bird’ (Son Chiriya). But what is that golden bird and why is everyone after it, are the two questions the teaser doesn’t resolve.

'Sonchiriya', which marks the first collaboration between Rajput and Pednekar, is slated to release on February 8, 2019.
