Sonam Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao wish Anil Kapoor on his birthday with the first poster of 'Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga'Dec 24 (AZINS) Actor Anil Kapoor turned a year older on Monday and rang in his 62nd birthday by unveiling the first poster of his upcoming film with daughter Sonam Kapoor Ahuja- Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga. 

With the film, the father-daughter duo of Anil Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor will share the screen space for the first time.

Also starring Juhi Chawla and Rajkummar Rao, Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga is a slice-of-life film.

Sonam too shared the poster on her Instagram and captioned it, “What a day to release the first poster of #EkLadkiKoDekhaTohAisaLaga. Happy Birthday Daddy @Anilkapoor! This film is a tribute to the father-daughter bond.”

The Veere Di Wedding actress also announced that the trailer of the film will be released on December 27.

Anil also took to Twitter and said, “Excited to present the first look of #EkLadkiKoDekhaToAisaLaga. Honoured to begin this journey on my birthday along with my lovely daughter @sonamakapoor.”

Stree actor, Rajkummar Rao also shared the first look poster and wished his co-star Anil, on his birthday.

He wrote on Twitter, “Happy birthday my favourite @AnilKapoor sir. Thank u for teaching me so many things. What a great day to launch #EkLadkiKoDekhaToAisaLaga’s new movie poster!”

Meanwhile, Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga is based on a woman in love with a Muslim man, whose life is turned upside down when she finds out that her father is in love with another woman who aspires to be an actress.

Directed by Shelly, the film is produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, and is slated to release on February 1, 2019.
