Post hearing the legendary actor Kader Khan’s demise, Neetu Kapoor just confirmed on her Instagram account that her husband, also a great actor, Rishi Kapoor, is suffering from cancer.

When Rishi announced that he is going on a break to USA, news reports soon stated that Rishi was getting treated for cancer there. It came as a shock to many, who were not ready to take it, post knowing that their favourite actors Irrfan Khan and Sonali Bendre Bahl too were getting treated for cancer.

Randhir, brother to Rishi Kapoor, had quashed these rumours at that time, but to no avail. Neetu has always stayed with Rishi in US, and either has Ranbir or Riddhima or both by their side. Apart from that, other actors like Priyanka Chopra, Sonali and others also paid them an occasional visit. This gave further rise to speculations of something being wrong for sure.

The actress herself now confirmed that Rishi has cancer with her New Year post which read, “Happy 2019 no resolutions only wishes this year !!! Less pollution traffic!! Hope in future cancer is only a zodiac sign !!! No hatred less poverty loads of love togetherness happiness n most imp. Good health”

The photo interestingly saw Ranbir’s girlfriend, actress Alia Bhatt pose with the Kapoor family like she was a part of them, but Ranbir’s niece Samaira managed to hog all limelight with her cute and goofy expressions while holding onto a balloon.
