Singham, Simmba, Sooryavanshi aka Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar share same frame and we can’t keep calm!Jan 8 (AZINS) Rohit Shetty seems to have some magic wand, especially when it comes to making a commercial cop-drama. While his first venture in this kind of cinema was Singham with Ajay Devgn, he has continued the same with Simmba featuring Ranveer Singh in the lead role.

The movie, which released on December 28, 2018, has crossed the Rs 200-crore-mark, giving Ranveer his biggest opening film. It is also the eighth film in which Rohit Shetty has crossed the Rs 100-crore mark. The director is the only filmmaker who holds this record yet, which is one of the reasons why he has even attained the title of ‘action master’.

Rohit and his team, including Ranveer, Sara Ali Khan and co-producer Karan Johar celebrated the success of Simmba by throwing a party where Deepika Padukone, Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar were among the invitees. After the grand bash, Rohit shared a photo with Ranveer Singh, Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar along with Karan Johar. This becomes interesting since characters from the franchise – Singham aka Ajay Devgn, Simmba alias Ranveer Singh and Veer Sooryavanshi aka Akshay Kumar shared the frame with the director-producers.

For the uninitiated, Akshay Kumar plays a cameo in Simmba as the character of Veer in the compling film Sooryavanshi at the end of the film. Sharing the photo on Instagram, Rohit captioned it writing, "Singham Simmba Sooryavanshi...Coming...Should I tell you Something that you don’t know???"

Simmba is the third highest grossing Bollywood film of 2018 and if it manages to cross the Rs 300-crore-mark, then the film would even beat Ranveer’s previous release Padmaavat. In case you missed it, check out all the inside pictures from the success bash of Simmba here.
