Badla: Amitabh Bachchan's first look will remind you of his role in 'Kaante'Jan 15 (AZINS) A teaser of Amitabh Bachchan's upcoming film was shared on Twitter. The picture shows the superstar walking a bridge with a briefcase in his hand while showing his back to the camera. The photo portrays the megastar in a corporate look wearing a black suit. It will actually take you back in time, when Amitabh Bachchan did movies like Kaante and Aankhen.

Interestingly, the Sujoy Ghosh directorial is the remake of the 2016 Spanish thriller 'Contratiempo.' The film starring Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu is produced by Red Chillies Entertainment in association with Azure Entertainment and is slated for release on March 8.

The last thriller which Red Chillies Entertainment produced was Sidharth Malhotra and Sonakshi Sinha starrer Ittefaaq. Azure Entertainment too had backed the thriller movie Rocky Handsome and are also co-producers on Akshay Kumar’s film Kesari. Director Sujoy Ghosh himself is famous for his thriller alias Vidya Balan starrer Kahani.

Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu had previously collaborated for Sujoy Ghosh’s movie Pink which had created a wave among people who were witness to the power-packed performances by Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee and Angad Bedi. In 2018, Taapsee once again gained critical acclaim for Mulk where she was paired opposite Rishi Kapoor.

Amitabh Bachchan was last seen in the movie Thugs of Hindostan opposite Aamir Khan. Currently, the actor is busy with Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra where he will be seen alongside Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Mouni Roy among others.
