#MeToo: Sexual harassment complaint filed against T-Series’ head honcho Bhushan KumarAuthor : AZIndia News Desk
Jan 17 (AZINS) Amidst all #MeToo names, one was T-Series’ head honcho Bhushan Kumar’s. The producer was accused of demanding casting couch from a struggler. This anonymous person has now filed a police complain in Oshiwara police station to take the matters forward.
The girl alleges that she met the producer during ‘Bhoomi’ screening and he offered her three-film-deal, provided she would sleep with him. Recollecting the incident, she mentioned that all the procedures went smoothly at his office and once she was escorted to his office by a staff member, she was selected by a ‘friendly’ Bhushan Kumar.
She further accuses Bhushan of blackmailing her and saying he wouldn’t let her survive in the city if she opened up about the incident to anyone and being dropped off the movie for rejecting Bhushan’s offer. She even narrated the tale of how some of the girls she knew, had a scar in their life since powerful people like Bhushan used them and never offered them a film.
The woman accusing this producer posted from the handle #YouTooBollywood. Here’s her complain, which is also often termed as FIR:
Bhushan has denied all the allegations against him by issuing a statement. Co-incidentally, noted filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani has also come under the scanner and is accused of sexual misconduct by a woman assistant director from ‘Sanju’ and he too denied all the allegations.
Previously Alok Nath too faced legal charges and had to appear in court, but tables turned around then since the law found errors in victim Vinta Nanda’s claims.
