Ek Veer Ki Aardaas... Veera actress Digangana Suryavanshi on a record, Find out!Jan 31 (AZINS) Twenty one-year old Digangana Suryavanshi, best known for playing the protagonist Veera in Ek Veer Ki Aardaas... Veera, has already created two records in a short span. In 2015, she was the youngest participant in the reality show Bigg Boss 9 as she entered the house when she was only 17! “One of the things that tempted me to do the show was that I would turn 18 in the house in the presence of Salman sir (Khan, host of the show). I found it exciting,” she gushes. In fact, it was at the insistence of Dabangg Khan that the actress, who sported knee-length hair, cut it by 19 inches. “Long hair doesn’t go with every character you play and you can’t put a wig over it. I was also a little plump while doing serials, Salman sir told me the importance of physical fitness and having a toned body,” she says.

The other feat achieved by the actress is making a film debut with two of her movies — FryDay and Jalebi —that released on the same day! “It just happened to be like that. I shot for FryDay first followed by Jalebi and they were to release on separate dates. But both films got pushed and came on the same day,” she smiles. Initially, Digangana freaked out, and conveyed her apprehension to Abhishek Dogra, (director of FryDay), who told her that in fact it’s a good thing as it is happening for the first time! He even tweeted about it.

While the films may not have fared well at the box office, the actress considers them a part of her journey and has moved on. Now, she is all set to make her South debut with a Telugu film produced by the makers of Rajinikanth’s Kabali.
