Katrina Kaif reveals how Alia Bhatt dating Ranbir Kapoor was not relevant to their equationFeb 15 (AZINS) A lot has been spoken about Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt's friendship. It all started when Alia started dating Katrina's ex and actor Ranbir Kapoor. Though Katrina and Alia denied reports of not being friends anymore, they have been constantly quizzed about the same in several interviews. Both the actors even opened up about it on Koffee With Karan 6 and had only praises for each other. They are often seen commenting on each other's Instagram posts like how all buddies do it.

In a recent talk show, where Katrina was the guest, she was yet again asked about her current equation with Alia. To which the Tiger Zinda Hai actor replied, "The fact that she was dating was not relevant to the equation that I shared with her. So why should that equation change?"

Meanwhile, on the work front, Alia's latest outing Gully Boy hit the screens on Valentine's Day and has been winning hearts all over the country. The film stars Ranveer Singh in the lead role and is directed by Zoya Akhtar.

Soon after Gully Boy, Alia has multistarrer flick Kalank directed by Abhishek Varman. In the film, the talented actor will be reuniting with her Badri aka Varun Dhawan and it's their fourth film together.

Talking about Katrina, her upcoming film is Bharat opposite Salman Khan. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the shoot for the film is nearing its end. On the occasion of Republic Day, the makers unveiled Bharat's teaser and made people impatient for the release. Bharat is slated to release during Eid this year.
