Our industry lacks Tamil-speaking heroines like Megha Akash: Atharvaa MuraliAuthor : AZIndia News Desk
Feb 2 (AZINS) The pre-release event of director Kannan's Boomerang was held on Friday in Chennai, and the entire cast and crew were in full attendance. Speaking at the event, Atharvaa Murali, who has teamed up with Kannan for the first time, said, "We as a team are quite happy that we were able to complete the film in a quick span though there were lots of dramatic scenes. Many have been asking me the reason behind titling the movie as Boomerang. The premise is simple, and it’s all about Karma. Everyone thinks that the film is based on agriculture, but there are lots of other ingredients in the screenplay."
He further added: "I got to know about lots of things like face transplantation through this film and director Kannan. Our industry lacks lots of Tamil speaking heroines, and I'm sure actresses like Indhuja and Megha Akash, who are really talented, deserve more opportunities. I am sure audiences will thoroughly enjoy the film next week."
Boomerang is produced by director Kannan himself and is set to hit screens on March 8th. RJ Balaji plays a vital role in the film like the director's previous thriller Ivan Thanthiran. Radhan has composed the music for the film, which has editing by Selva.
