Sonam K Ahuja and Dulquer Salmaan starrer 'The Zoya Factor' gets a new release dateMar 8(AZINS) Malayalam heartthrob Dulquer Salmaan is all set to be seen opposite Sonam K Ahuja in his second Bollywood film, The Zoya Factor. The movie is based on the book of the same name by Anuja Chauhan. In The Zoya Factor, DQ will be seen playing the role of the captain of the Indian Cricket Team, while Sonam will be seen as an executive in an advertising agency. She then proves to be a lucky charm for the Indian Cricket Team.

The movie was initially supposed to release on April 5, 2019. But the makers have announced the new release date. The official Twitter page of Fox Star Hindi tweeted, "She’ll make you go What The Luck ;) Get ready for a zany ride with #TheZoyaFactor on 14th June, 2019!Directed by #AbhishekSharma and starring @sonamakapoor & @dulQuer!"

Earlier talking about Dulquer, Sonam stated to a portal, "Dulquer is really cute and such a good actor. I have seen his film OK Kanmani and he was fabulous in that. I really liked him in that movie and I have a history of working with south Indian actors. Dhanush was launched with Raanjhanaa, so I think I work well with them. I haven’t started prepping with Dulquer. It’s starting in August so I am looking forward to working with him. We will start in August or September."

The Zoya Factor also stars Sanjay Kapoor as Sonam's father. The movie is directed by Abhishek Sharma, who called it, "Cricket woven into a rom-com and touching on superstition and luck". Along with Fox Star Studios, the film is co-produced by Pooja Shetty Deora and Aarti Shetty.
