Mar 8(AZINS) On the occassion of International Women's Day today, Bollywood actress Yami Gautam, who is currently riding high on the success of 'Uri: The Surgical Strike', took to her Instagram account to share a rather good news.
"There is something I wish to share with you all. It makes me really happy to see more and more women braving themselves to be a part of armed forces in India. The number is still growing which is very encouraging and I feel it paves a very strong, firm, positive path that there are female heroes which the current generation of young girls can look upto can idolise them can draw inspiration from them to serve the nation. So this International Women's Day let's celebrate by helping them create new idols, new real heroes and new wave of hope who they wish to become, and help them expand their vision," she said.
Along with Vicky Kaushal, Yami too is being extensively applauded for her earnest portrayal of an intelligence officer in 'URI'. Recently the BSF regiment in Amritsar gave her a token of appreciation and felicitated Yami for her remarkable performance in 'URI'.
