Telugu actor Siddharth sings 'Excuse Me Rakshasi' for Sundeep Kishan's 'Ninu Veedani Needanu Nenu'Author : AZIndia News Desk
Mar 10 (AZINS) Actor Siddharth was the quintessential lover boy of Telugu cinema when he made appearance in films like Bommarillu and Nuvvostananate Nenoddantana and several other films that turned out to be blockbusters. But along with being an actor, he's also pretty well-known for being a hit singer with blockbuster numbers like Appudo Ippudo from Bommarillu, Oye from Oye and Ninnu Choostunte from Aata amongst others.
And now, after almost eight years, Siddharth has crooned yet again for a Telugu film. In Sundeep Kishan’s upcoming film, Ninu Veedani Needanu Nenu, the actor has lent his voice for the song Excuse Me Rakshasi.
SS Thaman, who has composed for the film, shared a glimpse of the actor singing on Twitter and wrote: “And this guy @Actor_Siddharth singing for me again . Will tell u all the details soon(sic).” The actor and composer had worked together earlier for 2012 film Love Failure (Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi in Tamil).
Speaking about the new song, Siddharth said in a public statement, “I always feel happy to sing a Telugu song. Telugu is one of the sweetest languages. When it is coupled with music, it becomes even sweeter. It’s Telugu cinema that has given me recognition, respect, and stardom as an actor. I have always shared a special relationship with the Telugu audience. I can't forget Telugu. The one reason I have rendered this song is my friend Sundeep Kishan. He is like a younger brother to me. He is producing a film for the first time and I wanted to sing a song for his first film.” \
Incidentally, all the songs Siddharth sang in Telugu were blockbusters and it looks like Sundeep is counting on the same luck this time, especially since he's badly in need of a hit. Produced by Sundeep Kishan the film is directed by Caarthick Raaju and stars Anya Singh as the female lead.
