After facing a huge dip on first Monday, the movie is still going slow on first Tuesday.

The movie, which was expected to cross Rs. 100 crore already, is still struggling and might near the Rs. 100-crore mark a week after its release. While it minted Rs. 8.25 crore on Monday, Kesari is still struggling and saw more fall on Tuesday.

Akshay Kumar starrer Kesari was stronger in the Northern regions and managed to earn Rs. 7.17 crore on its first Tuesday. The movie saw a huge dip on Monday (due to two reasons - IPL season and working day). It was expected to have collections in double digits. The Karan Johar produced film needs stronger numbers over the coming weekdays in order to sustain at the Box Office.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, "#Kesari slows on Tue... North circuits continue to score and contribute to the total... Should cross 100 cr today/tomorrow... Thu 21.06 cr, Fri 16.75 cr, Sat 18.75 cr, Sun 21.51 cr, Mon 8.25 cr, Tue 7.17 cr. Total: 93.49 cr. India biz."

A historical drama based on the true story of the Battle of Saragarhi fought between 21 courageous Sikhs and 10,000 invaders in the year 1897, Kesari is directed by Anurag Singh and co-produced by Karan Johar. It stars Parineeti Chopra as the female lead.
