Mar 31 (AZINS) Vicky Kaushal starrer 'URI: The Surgical Strike' has been one of the most spoken about movies this year. The movie, which proved its relevance time and again, has not only been the first highest grosser of the year but it has now become the 10th highest grossing Hindi film of all time.
Collecting Rs. 244.06 crore till date, the movie which also starred Yami Gautam, Paresh Rawal, Kirti Kulhari and Mohit Raina with Vicky Kaushal in pivotal roles, is still running in theatres successfuly. 'Uri: The Surgical Strike' was the first release of the year and hit the theatre screens even before Republic Day. It released on January 11.

'Uri: The Surgical Strike' stayed strong in theatres despite hits like Ranveer Singh-Alia Bhatt starrer 'Gully Boy', Ajay Devgn-Anil Kapoor-Madhuri Dixit starrer 'Total Dhamaal', Akshay Kumar-Parineeti Chopra starrer 'Kesari', Kangana Ranaut starrer 'Manikarnika', Amitabh Bachchan-Taapsee Pannu starrer 'Badla' and Kartik Aaryan-Kriti Sanon starrer 'Luka Chuppi'.
