April 3 (AZINS) Bollywood choreographer and filmmaker Farah Khan is all set to return to the director's seat after a hiatus of four years. In a recent interview, she revealed that her upcoming directorial will be a remake of a popular Hindi film and it will be mounted as a massive Bollywood musical.
The film will mark Farah's first collaboration with Rohit Shetty, who will be producing the film. "Rohit and I are both extremely excited for the collaboration. We are making a really big, massive Bollywood musical,'' Farah Khan said to PTI.
"It'll be absolutely my kind of a movie. Rohit and I are probably the last two left to make this kind of big, entertaining cinema," the filmmaker added.
The director said the script is being given final touches. "The script is almost done, we are just about finishing it. It's a remake. We have bought the rights of an Indian film and are revamping it currently,'' Farah who helmed Tees Maar Khan told PTI in her statement.
DNA After Hrs was the first one to report that Farah and Rohit have 'Satte Pe Satta' remake on their minds. Now, Farah has herself confirmed that it will be a remake of a 'popular' Hindi film. Although she didn't confirm the name of the film, she said that the team will announce the star cast soon. "Rohit has promised to come and do the action for the film. I'm looking forward to it. Within a month or so, we will know our cast as well," she said.
