GoAir denies reports of Ness Wadia stopping Preity G Zinta from boarding its flightsApril 7 (AZINS) On Saturday night, a SpotBoye report revealed that IPL team Kings XI Punjab's co-owner Preity G Zinta was debarred from boarding a GoAir flight because of her ex Ness Wadia's strict orders. Talking about the same, a source had said to the portal, "Now, this is illegal. The GoAir aircraft are owned by the government and not  Ness, he may be one of the owners of the airline alright but that doesn't give him any right or license to decide which passengers will board GoAir flights and which won't. Ness has got really petty and he could have easily avoided this mess."

Now, GoAir has issued a statement denying all the allegations and accusing the portal of wrong reportage. In their statement, they gave out detailed information about the whole incident. Check it out below:

"Sections of the media have reported malicious and a factually incorrect story that is false, fabricated and without any basis stating that “Preity Zinta was stopped from boarding GoAir flight”.

GoAir strongly and completely denies any such action and demands an immediate apology from spotboye.com and latestly.com. Contrary to the reportage, all the facts-on-ground clearly show that Ms Preity Zinta had a smooth flight Mumbai to Chandigarh GoAir G8-381 on Saturday 30th March 2019. Further, on 2nd April 2019, she also booked herself on a return flight G8 382 from Chandigarh to Mumbai but did not show up. This clearly demonstrates that sections of media have reported mischievously and without verifying the facts with GoAir.

Facts from GoAir:

1. On 30th March, Ms Preity Zinta reported at the airport at 07:50 hours to board GoAir flight G8-381 from Mumbai-Chandigarh which was scheduled to depart at 08:35 hours.

2. Her ticket PNR: E6UD9J had 4 passengers including herself and they were booked to travel economy class. She was assigned seat 13F.

3. Ms Preity Zinta boarded the aircraft at 08:06 hours.

4. She was not stopped by GoAir staff at any point. Her travel was smooth and uneventful and she reached Chandigarh as per her travel plan.

5. There were other Filmstars too on board G8 381.

6. Flight G8-381 departed 2 minutes early at 08:33 hours.

7. GoAir staff did not interact with her at any given point in time.

Ms Preity Zinta was booked twice in the past on GoAir flights but she did not show up.

Exes Preity and Ness indulged in a controversy earlier when the actor lodged a complaint against him for molestation, threats and abuse.
