Farhan Akhtar breaks silence on rumours of Ranveer Singh replacing Shah Rukh Khan in Don 3April 12 (AZINS) In the last few years, Farhan Akhtar has been quizzed several times about the third instalment of his successful franchise Don, each time he’s made an appearance in front of the media. In the last few weeks, numerous stories have been doing the rounds.

While a report claimed that Shah Rukh Khan has opted out of the film and Ranveer Singh has been brought on board as replacement, another stated that this time, it won’t be Farhan but his sister Zoya Akhtar who will helm Don 3. Amid all this confusion, when we spoke to Farhan, he finally broke his silence on the matter.

The Rock On 2 hero told us, “I am a bit tired of speaking about Don 3. This news doesn’t come from me. I don’t start and end it. People can happily say what they want to and amuse themselves. When I have something to say, I will say it. There is nothing to hide.”

Earlier, Zoya rubbished the rumours of Ranveer stepping into SRK’s shoes for Don 3 and told a leading entertainment website that it was ‘absolute nonsense.’
