Amitabh Bachchan calls 'Hanuman Jayanti' 'Amar Akbar Anthony' day, here's why...April 19 (AZINS) The Hindi Film Industry doesn't discriminate on the basis of caste, creed or religion, especially when it comes to celebrating our festivals. Be it Holi, Diwali, Christmas or Eid, the B-Town folks celebrate them all with the same zeal and vigour and send across their best wishes to their fans and loved ones. This Friday, April 19, on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, much like other stars from the tinsel town, veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan too shared his best wishes for his followers on Twitter. But little did he know that his tweet with a twist will go viral by the end of the day.

Well, while wishing the netizens on Hanuman Jayanti, Amitabh Bachchan happened to find an 'Amar Akbar Anthony' connect as April 19, 2019 also happens to be a Friday (which is the day of Friday prayers for the Muslimes aka Jumma) and the Christian fesitval of Good Friday also happens to be on the same day. Keeping this coincidence in mind, Big B wrote in jis tweet, "T 3138 - ?? ?? 'Amar Akbar Anthony ' day ?? ??? ..?????? ?????,  ??????,  Good Friday".

For those who're uninitiated, the plot of Big B's 1971 film Amar Akbar Anthony revolved around three brothers who're separated at birth and they end up growing in three different housegholds, following three different religions. One becomes a Hindu, the other becomes a Muslim and the third one becomes a Christian.

Not just Amitabh Bachchan, Anil Kapoor too was among those who wished his fans on social media. He shared a picture from his classic film Mr. India on Twitter and wrote, "The power of Bajrangbali! #HanumanJayanti #MrIndia @shekharkapur @FilmHistoryPic
