April 22 (AZINS) When someone sits miles away from a bomb blast explosion happening somewhere around the world, they pray that they are safe. Can you however imagine what happens to someone who was at the explosion site, but left just a few minutes before the blast? The moment of the luck which they feel is immeasurable.
The bomb blasts in Sri Lanka has got the world praying for the safety of all people, injured and alive. Television actress Radhikaa Sarathkumar, born in Sri Lanka, was in the country to celebrate Easter among her people. She however was not ready for what came her way, just like most others.
The actress checked out of a hotel where she was staying - the Cinnamon grand hotel. The same hotel was a spot which was affected by the bomb blasts. Luckily enough, Radhika lived to tell her tale. She left from the hotel only a few minutes before the blast took place.
Expressing her shock on Twitter over the Sri Lanka bomb attacks, the 'Theri' actress wrote, "OMG bomb blasts in Sri Lanka, god be with all. I just left Colombo Cinnamon grand hotel and it has been bombed, can’t believe this shocking (Sic)."
Radhika has acted in 300 plus films in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi. She is mostly known for her Television work and has even produced various TV shows like Chitti, Annamalai, Selvi, Thamarai, Arasi, Chellame, Vaani Rani and Idi Katha Kadu (Telugu).
