Salman Khan-Disha Patani's 'Slow Motion' dance in 'Bharat' of 60s has blockbuster written all over itAuthor : AZIndia News Desk
April 25 (AZINS) The journey of a man and a nation Bharat commenced recently. The makers are now taking us through the journey of Salman Khan aka Bharat through songs. The first ever song from this film 'Slow Motion Mein' has just released and it has blockbuster written all over.
Salman Khan enters the scene, and he looks like desi Elvis Presley, maybe even more handsome than Presley himself. The actor is living as a circus performer in 'The Great Russian Circus' the year 1964. There, he meets his ladylove Disha Patani. The song is all about their romance.
The lyrics of this song (no guess here) are sure to amuse you. Salman, who has refrained from the topic of marriage in his real life, goes on to talk about babies and changing their napkins in the song. No, really. ‘Phir shadi hogi babies honge, badlenge hum napkin’, goes one stance. Salman Khan in fact introduces the song by call it 'Rangeen Jawaani'.
Disha Patani, most known for her dancing skills, shows us some moves in the song as well, and they are hot as fire, no doubt. Her attire takes us back to the iconic yellow saree - worn by Raveena Tandon in 'Tip Tip Barsa'. The style of Disha's saree however reminds us more of Katrina Kaif in the song 'Gale Lag Jaa' featuring Akshay Kumar. While the costumes are apt, the sets of circus are also huge and true to the name 'The Great Russian Circus'.
The music of this song - banging of drums and high-pitched guitar - set the mood for something spectacular. Vishal-Shekhar along with Nakash Aziz and Shreya Ghoshal are to be lauded for the same. The spectacular thing which the talented artists were preparing us for actually takes place. Salman Khan brings a diamond ring so huge that he can see Disha Patani through it. Even though the song is a romantic track, the two indulge in aerial dance (a stunt) too. However beating them all is the hook step of 'Slow Motion', which is set to create a rage soon enough.
Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Bharat is based against the backdrop of partition. The film also stars Katrina Kaif (who works with Zafar for the third time, just like Salman), Tabu, Jackie Shroff, Sunil Grover along with Salman and Disha. The movie is scheduled to release on the occasion of Eid i.e. on June 5 this year!
