'Avengers: Endgame' Box-Office Report Day 1: MCU film is a record breaker in India by crossing Rs 50 crore markApril 27 (AZINS) On April 26, 2019, a storm was created in the world as Avengers: Endgame finally hit the screens. The movie even before its release shattered many box office records not only in India but other countries like China as well. The film witnessed an opening-day record as it minted $107.2 million in ticket sales in China. While in India, topped the all-time advance bookings and beat the likes of Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, Avengers: Infinity War, Thugs Of Hindostan, Tiger Zinda Hai, Sultan among others.

Now as per Box Office India, the first-day collections of Avengers: Endgame are out! The MCU film has minted about Rs 52 crore at the domestic market on its opening day, which is incredible. It has become the third highest after Baahubali 2: The Conclusion and 2.0. It has neared the collection of Thugs of Hindostan which was released last year. No matter what, Avengers: Endgame will continue to mint over the weekend and Rs 100 crore looks like a cakewalk. The film reportedly raked in Rs 65-70 crore nett pre-release in India.

Avengers: Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd, Brie Larson, Karen Gillan, Danai Gurira, Bradley Cooper and Josh Brolin in the lead roles.

The movie is directed by Anthony Russo and Joe Russo while it's produced by Kevin Feige of Marvel Studios. With this film, many actors have hung their capes and won't be returning to MCU films.
